Johnny Hopkins ('93) completed a degree in Biology at UNCG in May 1999 and is applying to the MTS Program of Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.

Gene Hyde ('76) manages the Regional Studies Center in the library at Lyon College in the Ozark foothills. Gene received his MA in Appalachian Studies in 1992 from ASU.

Ted Labosky ('78) married Jennifer Allen in 1988 and is happy and having fun in Winston-Salem. They have two children, Emily, 7, and Mary Grace, 5. Ted earned an MLS from UNCG in 1990. Page Lefler ('93) married Paul Llewellyn Gallimore in April. They live in Melbourne, Australia.

Eric and Nancy (Fisher) Marshall ('81 and `82) live in Walnut Cove, NC, with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, goats, two kids, and Old MacDonald. Nancy teaches at Southeastern Stokes Middle School and was elected Teacher of the Year in 1998. Eric teaches at London Elementary, where their children, Megan (3rd grade) and Matt (1^st grade) attend.

Congratulations to Stacey McLendon Craft ('85) and husband Lester of Greensboro on the birth of their daughter Adele McLendon Craft, born June 28, 1999.

Jeff Mortimore ('93) married Nancy Amanda Wall June 12, 1999 in Greensboro. The couple live in Cambridge, MA and Jeff attends Harvard.

Anna Pitts ('92) married David Power, a mechanical engineer, in his native Scotland in October 1997. Anna works with autistic adults in Raleigh and sometimes works as an extra in MGM movies filmed in NC. She has decided to go back to school for a master's in social psychology. She and Laura Graham recently returned from a Phish tour and now Anna wants to learn to play guitar.

Mike Pratt ('74) and Vicky Vanderford Pratt ('72) live in Brevard, NC where Michael is busy lawyering and Vicky works in his office, helping with estate work. Their daughter Amanda, 13, is in band, scouts, piano lessons, etc.. Son Allen, 11, is also taking piano lessons and Aaron, 9, keeps them quite busy.
