Richard "Doc" Watson ('84) has been in Orlando this fall with The Orlando Shakespeare Festival and has also accepted the role of Queensbury in "Gross Indecencies: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde" at The Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival opening in January 2000. rwatson225@earthlink.net
Anne Willson ('78) and partner Judi Kastner have opened TwoArtChicks on the 600 block of South Elm Street in downtown Greensboro. The space includes artist studios, two classrooms, and a sales gallery for local and national artists. The gallery will feature paintings, jewelry, toys, and crafts, including pricey pieces as well as works for under $50.
Brooke Wilson ('94) graduated from Appalachian State in December 1998 with a degree in Communications, concentration in Public Relations, and a minor in Marketing. She lives in Atlanta and works as a PR Account Executive at Freebairn & Co. ab_wilson@yahoo.com

Chris Winters ('86) returned from the Peace Corps with a Hungarian wife, Annamari, who was a US government contract teacher of Hungarian. They have settled for the moment in Seattle, where Chris works as a business/technology reporter for a daily paper (www.eastsidejournal.com). Fran Arndt has been selected as one of the finalists under consideration for the Junior Alumni Teaching Excellence Award. Announcement of the winner will be made at the end of the school year.
Deirdre Kearney, RC freshman in 1981, was back at RC last semester teaching Introduction to Women's Studies.
Tom Taylor (former faculty and RD of Mary Foust in the mid-80's) is still at Wittenberg University, where he is now Chair of the History Department and the Faculty Development Administrator. Wife
Mechelle Taylor (former RD) is teaching in the public schools. Twins Sarah and Erin are high school seniors and both are National Merit Semi-Finalists. Samuel is now in 8th grade and plays recorder, oboe, clarinet, baritone sax, and guitar.
Kathryn Williams of UNCG's Classics Department and niece of Warren Ashby is now teaching in RC.
